Exhibit at the Cherry Street Pier, October 1 – October 14

EXHIBITION

On October 1st, the exhibition was inaugurated in the spaces of the Cherry Street Pier during DesignPhiladelphia, a festival entirely dedicated to design. The spaces of the Cherry Street Pier, thanks to their industrial-flavoured atmospheres, allowed the exhibition to be particularly enhanced. “SustainabITALY: Sustainability Made in Italy” is included in the rich program of events that will be held until October 13th and has the opportunity to be visited by a wide public. The Philadelphia Design Week, in fact, is an important cultural event dedicated to design and architecture that is held every year in Philadelphia.

Participation in Design Week was undoubtedly a wonderful opportunity for SustainabITALY. This initiative was made possible thanks to the invaluable interest and support of Barbara Klinkhammer, Dean and Professor at the College of Architecture and the Built Environment at Thomas Jefferson University, the dedicated work of her team, and, of course, the contributions of all the participating students. A special thanks goes to the students who assisted with the assembly: Joel Pena, Hannah Lewis, Natalia Matias Almanzar, Mihir Patel, and Caleb Vance, as well as to Zachary Winton and Alexis Manfre for their help with the disassembly.
